The Fender Starcaster Bass is back, and this one is more American than ever. With only a handful of prototypes made in the 1970s, the Starcaster achieved cult status with plenty of Mojo! This Modern Player incarnation gives you a unique offset semi-hollow maple body with an alder centre block for robust sustain. Stylishly bound F-holes lend a cool vintage vibe and enhance the instrument’s rich resonance, while dual Wide Range Humbuckers deliver a huge spectrum of tone. You’ll also appreciate the fast feel of the maple neck and fingerboard with its medium-jumbo frets. It might look like a 1977 model but it is much improved as a really modern instrument with a three-position toggle plus a volume and tone control for each pickup and a Hi-Mass bridge.
