Description:
This Jazz Precision Bass is, in fact, a limited edition as they were only made from 1988 until late 1990. It has a typical Maple neck with a Mahogany skunk stripe and an excellent Rosewood fretboard with very little wear. The colour of the instrument has aged beautifully, showing it’s vintage. It also has both new jazz and bass pickups, done by an excellent luthier and the receipt for the work is in the case with the bass. Fender fitted this model with a toggle switch enabling the player to switch between jazz and precision pickup. The luthier also fitted a new set of flat wound strings. Sadly it has two dings in the paintwork, however, this is a really rare instrument these days and well worth the money I’m asking for it! |
